Ranfren, ou Randal's Friends, é uma série de quadrinhos surreais criada por Captain Howdie. A história gira em torno de Randal, um jovem, e seu irmão, junto com seus amigos, incluindo homens-gato, em uma casa nos subúrbios do Grande Canadá.

Principal protagonista da série, adora fazer amigos de qualquer tipo. Não parece tão louco e estranho, mas na verdade ele é a pessoa mais estranha que você já conheceu...

Irmão do protagonista, o mais “normal” do grupo... mais ou menos. Tenta ser amigável, mas fica assustador quando está com raiva.

Gato de estimação de Luther número 2. Geralmente muito quieto e calmo, mas leal ao seu mestre.

Servo leal de Luther. Ninguém sabe ao certo se ele é um homem-gato ou um gato-homem. Muito ameaçador.

Literalmente apenas um cara normal que quer sair. Vive com os outros por cerca de 2 anos... contra sua vontade.

Nyx is a catman, he’s one of the first attempts of Luther to gift Randal a pet. Because of that, he doesn’t look like Luther all together. He posseses a sadistic nature that usually keeps hidden underneath a overly fake kindness to strangers (human and non humans). He likes to spend the days on his lab room often experimenting on his preys patients and himself. Unlike some of the most reserved individuals of the Ivory House, Nyx doesn’t hesitate to show a sharp tongue and somewhat rude attitude. He’s usually seen wearing a cat beanie similar to Nyen’s, dark blue jeans and military boots. His top usually changes but most of the time is a black turtle-neck. He’s the only catman in the house that doesn’t have whiskers and instead wears thick black-framed glasses. His eyes and theeth are yellowish, similar to certain cat breeds, and his cheeks and nose are always slighly red-tinted.He is full of scars across his body, mostly on his arms and chest area.

Closet kit isn't necessarily "rude", he just won't give you his time if he doesnt enjoy your company. He wont get along with Randal unless he invites him to play video games or watch tv.. otherwise he finds him loud and annoying. The only clothes he will accept are Luther's, and thats really the only thing he will let in the closet. Anything else he'll just toss out of it on the floor, not caring whos it was or what importance it had. Now if Closet Kit likes you he likes you, and he'll definitely try to show it. It doesnt matter if you dont like him back, he'll try to engage in conversation with you anytime he can, or give you gifts or maybe invite you to watch/play something with him. But if he doesnt like you, you'd be able to tell. During conversations with you he'll either just stand there and stare at you with no response until you leave him alone, or just up and leave you altogether. Hes not used to compliments, so tell him one and it'll leave him permanently flustered. If you take off his headband he'll genuinely just die. Like right there infront of you.

Goldie is a fishwoman originating from one of the suburbs of Canada! She was one day found by one of Luther's catmen who happened to be hunting during the time and took her in with them in hopes to probably eat or dispose of her. Eventually, Randal took interest in her and Luther allowed her in as one of the pets of the family for Randal's 15th birthday. Goldie doesn't remember much of her past, but who needs all that? You've got yourself a sweet goldfish! Currently, she lives under Randal's rule. One of the few most outspoken and energetic members of the family next to Randal! She tends to get picked on by Nyen, however retaliates with (somewhat lethal) pranks for laughs and often gravitates herself towards Nyon with the interest of learning his language! (Despite her short term memory) Goldie is known for her erratic and unpredictable behavior, often wreaking havoc for no reason and would work alongside Randal in his shenanigans. Perhaps that's where her habits originate. It's a surprise that she hasn't gotten into any punishments yet! Some say that her hat is sentient; she would appreciate if you could keep your hands off of its eyes. Will most definitely forget your name within an hour, please be sure to knock that into her head if you intend for her to remember you.
